Acrobats

Jason and the kids have been spending lots of time on the tramp learning how to do flips and so far no broken bones!  I thought we’d need the safety net (which came with our tramp), but everyone seems to be doing fine without it.  Oh, never mind.  Ryder just spilled the beans and said Kache has fallen off twice.  But still no broken bones, so I’m not too worried until the baby wants to be on it.

Dallie’s flip cracks me up.  She says her bum won’t let her do the trick.

5 Months Old

Riggin still looks like Riggin.  One day I think he looks Nielson and the next he looks Bagley.  We mostly hear people say he looks just like Jason.  But we hear that all our kids look just like Jason (including Ryder), so I suppose it’s open to interpretation.

First Cereal

Riggin finally had his first cereal.  After his 4 month check up we tried nutramigen again, but he still wasn’t able to digest it, so he’s back on Neocate.  We had to wait a couple of weeks for him to get regular again before we could start cereal.  So he was 5 months old when he had his first solid food and he liked it.  He’s the first baby I’ve had who didn’t gag on it.

Fly Tamer

Kache used to always catch flies too.  Unfortunately Dallie isn’t quite brave enough to kill spiders for me like Kache does.

Target Practice

We took my new shot gun out for a test spin and we like it.  Jason bought it from an older man in our branch and has since bought a hand gun from him too.  The kids also got to have a turn with the BB gun and were able to hit the target.

4 Month Stats

Riggin now weighs 14lbs 15oz (50%) and is 25.5 inches long (50%) and is in the 30% for head circumference.  With the genetics he has, I’m sure his head size will catch up soon.  He’s sleeping through the night again.  He’s happy and very vocal.  He’s able to roll over when his center of gravity (his head) shifts and the rest of his body follows.  Dallie tends to make him cry a lot, so I’m always surprised that he smiles when she comes near instead of cowering in fear.  He’s my snuggliest baby and I love it.
