Moving Day!

#16!  We bought the ranch in July, but the previous owners didn’t move out of their house until now, so we’ve been living in a rental in Waco and commuting for 2 months, but finally we get to move in! The first set of pics are from the previous owner, including their furnishings. Keep in mind, they are an older, very wealthy couple, so our decorations and furnishings will never do this house justice, but we are happy to be here.

General Conference

I’ve been cursing these computers since the boys brought them home from school.  In the 6 weeks of school Kache has been to the school library 3 times, but he has his own computer, that he doesn’t know how to type on or use the programs, but knows how to get to the games (and the excuse is always made that they are math or science games, so they’re allowed…grrr).  But finally this weekend they were worth the headache as Ryder and Dallie sat watching conference on Ryder’s “own” computer taking notes.  Kache’s computer battery was dead, so he watched on Jason’s phone.  But it was the first conference that we didn’t have to bribe, yell, or threaten them to pay attention (well, I still had to do all those things with Riggin, but the big kids were great). 

Florida Family Pics

Before we left Florida we had Renee Jacobsen take our family pictures.  Of course it was Florida in the summer so if it wasn’t raining it was 100% humidity.  But we were glad to have pics to remind us of our time in Florida. And Renee was so great to fit us in on such short notice and she has a great talent for photography!
