Smallest Bus Rider

Riggin is adjusting pretty well to being home without the big kids.  The only time we have a problem is in the morning when the kids leave.  He gets his backpack on and finds a lunch box and thinks he gets to go to school too.

He’s the first to line up when we see the bus coming.

But he’s very sad when I don’t let him get on the bus.

Two!

The little brother turned 2 on Saturday.  After a birthday breakfast we opened presents and then went to the beach.

First Day of Kindergarten

We survived the first day of kindergarten.  Dallie’s day went well, but my day dragged on.  I think the kids like their teachers.  I had a phone call from Kache’s teacher already telling me what a good listener and hard worker Kache is.  We’re having a little drama with where the bus stop should be (or actually is) in our sub-division, but hopefully by the end of the week it will be figured out and we’ll all still be friends.

Riggin didn’t want to be left out – he had to have a lunch box or backpack.

Tarah and I took these girls in for their first day of school.  We’re sad they aren’t in the same class, but glad they can sit together on the bus.

And They’re Off

The boys started school this morning.  There was only a little drama regarding the bus and where it should stop in the neighborhood.  But hopefully tomorrow all will be well.  I didn’t even get a picture of the boys by themselves.  Dallie starts tomorrow so we’ll have more pictures to come.

Luau

One of the service missionary couples (who are originally from Hawaii) are leaving soon and they wanted to go out with a bang.  They hosted a luau on the ranch with authentic Hawaiian food, Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers.  It rained most of the evening, but I preferred the rain to the mosquitoes that came out in full force as soon as the rained stopped.
