First Day of School 2015

The kids started school in Groesbeck Texas today.  Kache is in 6th grade, Ryder in 4rd, and Dallie in 2nd.  At Groesbeck they have pre-k thru 2nd grade in the elementary, 3rd-6th in the intermediate, a junior high and high school.  So Kache and Ryder will be in the same school but Dallie will be by herself. I’m really nervous about that, but they didn’t seem nervous at all.  They were excited to learn they would get their own computers.  It’s a new school, we don’t know anyone, and there aren’t many (if any at all) members of the church in their schools, so I hope we all survive it.

Jason took the boys to their school so I didn’t get any pics.

Riggin’s 4th Birthday

We celebrated Riggin’s birthday at the rental house in Waco and on a Sunday since his birthday was the first day of school.  He loved his Paw Patrol characters and Lightning McQueen cars.  He wishes he could go to school with the big kids, but gets to be my buddy for another year.

Downtown Waco

We stayed in a hotel Saturday and Sunday nights before we could get in our rental.  Jason, Rex and the kids took a walk to the Suspension Bridge on Sunday afternoon.  Rex couldn’t figure out why the cows wouldn’t move when he tried to herd them.

The Move

We stopped in at the USS Alabama on our way to Texas.  Kache and Jason especially loved it.  It was pretty amazing to see such great piece of history.

Kolt was happy to get out of the car that night.

Paradise Beach

We made one last trip to our favorite beach before the big move.  It’s been such an amazing experience to live in Florida.  I haven’t loved being so far from family and have missed the opportunity to work on the ranch, but to experience a place so different from where Jason and I grew up and the experiences our kids have had while we’ve been here have been great.  Our Lord’s creations are amazing, and what a blessing it has been to experience so many of His creations.  We’ll miss so many things about Florida, including this beautiful beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
