New Missionary

Brianna Young from Rex Ranch was called to serve a mission in the Florida Orlando Mission.  I was able to take the sisters serving in our ward to transfers so I could see Sister Young. 

Climbing Trees

The boys spend lots of time playing with neighbors and building things and climbing trees.  They’ve been bringing me oranges and grapefruit from the neighboring yard (the house is currently empty so the citrus is going to waste). 

Accelerated Reader

Ryder has the most AR points in the 2nd grade.  We’re very pleased with his hard work and good attitude about school.  Awesome job Ryder!

Fishing

Jason’s taken the kids fishing a couple of times, but they’ve never caught anything.  But today seemed to be their lucky day.  They caught 9 fish and no gators.

Pinewood Derby

We had a great Pinewood Derby this year.  It kept getting postponed, but it was worth the wait for the boys. 

100 Year Old Kindergartener

Dallie’s class dressed up as 100 year-olds for the 100th day of school.  I couldn’t convince her to wear a wig or even to put baby powder in her hair, but she still looked cute and had a fun time.

SeaWorld

We decided this year would be the one that we finally do something Florida.  And SeaWorld was having a sale on tickets, so SeaWorld it was.  We went with our friends, the Smith’s.  We couldn’t stay very long because we had to get back in time for a baptism, but we did have a fun time and are already planning our next trip.


We went back a couple weeks later and watched some of the shows.
