Hair Cut!

Dallie decided she wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love in honor of her good friend Natalie who lost all her hair to chemo.  Her new hair is super cute and she’s loving it so far.

Visitor

Just when I start enjoy life in Florida, the neighbor comes for a visit.  He lives in a pond behind the church and must have thought he’d find a mate in my yard.

He got scared off by the sound of a semi coming down the road,

and nearly became road kill.

However, he made it safely across the road and under the driveway to the church before the resident gator hunter could get him.  The following day the hunter and a couple other guys dragged him (the gator) out of the culvert and hauled him away.  Sadly, we weren’t home so I could take pictures, but it sounded like quite the adventure.

More Splash Pad Fun

We had a fun time at Ryder’s park day.  Ryder played football with all his friends and I followed Riggin around.

Barn Wood

I’ve been asking Jason for some great blue wood from an old loading chute on one of the units on the ranch.

He never has asked permission for it, but instead he and his supervisor got permission to tear out some wood from an old barn.  We got some great doors and a whole indoor wall worth of wood.  I don’t know what we’ll do with it yet, but I love barn wood.

We went to the barn after a swimming party so we weren’t dressed very well for the occasion.  But the boys still had a fun time and we didn’t get any rusty nails in our feet.
