Oregon

The next stop on our trip was Grandma and Grandpa Nielson’s in Oregon.

Weston and Renton were spending a couple weeks at Grandma’s so it was fun to have friend-cousins there.  Jason and I took the boys to a demo derby in Homedale on the 4th of July.  It was pretty redneck.

Mijken and her littles came to Grandma’s while we were there.  Dallie and Riggin were happy to play with Claire and Rett, but Kolt wasn’t very nice to Wynn.  He’d body slam, wrestle, sit on him, and sweet Wynn didn’t fight back at all.

These three twinners are back together again.

Chillin’ with some Nielson cousins and waiting for it to get dark enough to light some fireworks.  Grandpa Nielson had some blackcats from 40 some years ago and they still worked.  The cousins starting at 12 o'clock: Erin, Renton, Weston, Kache, Ryder, Justin, Elizabeth.

Jason took the big boys to Succor Creek to do some climbing and exploring.  Wes, Ren, Ryder, Kache, Justin.

Idaho Visit

We love the dry farms in Swan Valley.

I love ranching, but some days I miss the straight rows of farming.

Wrights were in Idaho visiting some friends, so we were able to meet up in Idaho Falls for lunch and a visit.

Kolt and Kenzie.  He was nice to her the first day and then his charm wore off.

We had dinner that night at Richard and Corinne’s.  We love the playing at their house!

Some of the crew took a hike up to the ice caves.

And when they got back we took a small walk in the mountains.  This southern baby wasn’t diggin’ the ice cold water!

The next day we went out to Island Park for a Bagley Family Getaway. I always like to stop at the view overlooking Teton Valley.

The Rexburg Temple.  When we were in college, one of Jason’s college jobs was farming this piece of ground.

The cabin we stayed in was right on the golf course.
