This calf was born to the grandma herd on the Pawlet when we lived there four years ago. Bailey’s kept it as a bucket calf because it couldn’t nurse properly because of its crooked neck.
When we went to the Pawlet for a branding we saw her again and she had a calf of her own. I think she’s something of a pet now; she wasn’t scared of me at all. Funny old girl.

Now that is a crick in the neck, poor thing! She looks healthy and happy though other wise!
