When the rain comes in central Texas, it seems to come in buckets. We’ve had (I think, I’ve not been here long) an exceptional year for moisture. When we moved here last year, it was dry, the air was dry. But this year we’ve had rain during the summer months to keep the grass green and it seems a lot more humid (the rain is great, the humidity awful).
Our friends, the Anderson’s, are moving to Kansas to manage a new property by the feedlot, so they stopped by on their way through. We loved having them here and are so glad they are only 9 hours away so we can visit easier.
