We've been having some great weather - high 60s and 70s. This is the best time of the year here. It's still freezing at night so we don't have mosquitoes or knats. We haven't started calving heavy yet. It's warm enough for us to spend some time outside. The grass is starting to turn green and the rattle snakes aren't out yet. Here are some pictures from our week.

The cows are round through the middle.

And so is the cat. We're amazed we still have as many cats as we do. We have a huge owl that stalks our cats, but it hasn't killed any yet.

The boys out caking.

One of Jason's pets checking out Dallie.

And like I've said before, this kid can fall asleep anywhere, anytime.

what did you call it "round through the middle" I like that. Cute pictures.
That cow looks like it has 5 legs
Have you started to calve yet? Daniel is healing, 225 mean old killers left to go! Just kidding! They have such good epd's here they don't hardly cull anything! Listening to good old Chris Ledoux and seeing pictures of your family makes us miss you guys!
Your week sounds a lot like ours. It has been so beautiful, and we are expecting our first calves anytime. Our cows look like it will probably about 2 weeks. My spring fever is pretty bad, but it won't keep the cold weather and snow from coming this weekend--darn.
