St. Patrick's Day

The leprechaun came to Kache's school the night before St. Patrick's Day. He made a huge mess. He tipped desks and chairs over, left trails of glitter all over the school, made green footprints everywhere - including on the TV and computers. He also left treats for the kids in their traps. The kindergartners were so funny. They were so upset that their traps couldn't catch the leprechaun.

In other school news, our community has been meeting with the superintendent and the school board to convince them not to close our school. Since there are only 8 kids this year it costs the school district more than they get from the state to keep our school open. We're hopeful that the number of younger families with kids and the distance we'd have to drive to get to another school will convince them to keep it open. We find out April 12 what they decide.
