Thanksgiving at Highland Park

Our little school went to a retirement home to perform songs and read stories about Thanksgiving.

The lady in the wheel chair (on the left) was blind, and yet she seemed so happy for us to be there.

Waiting for the show to start. They each wrote a story, from a turkey’s point of view, of why we shouldn’t eat turkey. One of Kache’s reasons was because they taste like plastic, “so eat beef!”. Jason’s taught him young.

The kids’ favorite part of the day: Pizza Hut. Ryder has become the 9th student at our school. We’re glad he gets included by the students. He can’t wait to start school next year.
