Playing Piano

This is all I’ve taken pictures of lately.  We’re pretty boring.  We have been to the dentist a lot this month.  I’m dreading that bill.  Kache even went to the orthodontist, but didn’t come home with any hardware.  He has to wait until more permanent teeth come in before they will know what to do with his small mouth. 

The boys are doing well in school.  Ryder is in 2nd grade math.  He tried to tell me he was doing higher level math and I assured him that he was very smart, but I thought he was still doing 1st grade math.  Then his teacher told me he was indeed doing 2nd grade math, so I ate my words. 

Kache comes home with homework most nights, but is able to get it done pretty quick, unless the baby steals his pencil or puts his papers in the garbage. 

The baby is not a baby anymore.  He is into everything: the garbage, cupboards, drawers, toilets, laundry, etc.  Every Sunday is a fight to keep him still and quiet during Sacrament Meeting.  Everyone in the branch comments on how he is not like his siblings who, for the most part, have always sat reverently. 

Dallie is sometimes a good helper.  She will quickly obey when I ask her to clean up after Riggin pulls all the cooking utensils out of the drawers, but she is often in the corner for leaving hers and Riggin’s rooms covered in toys.  Her hair is finally getting long enough to put in pony tails again.  I’m so glad because I am tired of the mullet. 

Jason’s still pretty busy.  He’s been shipping and sorting and trying to figure out what to do for feed for the next eight months.  We’re hoping for a bad winter (bad meaning lots of snow) because we need the moisture so badly and if the ground isn’t covered in snow we’re afraid of a mini dust bowl this winter. 

I’ve been busy with Relief Society and school music.  Closer to Halloween the school kids will visit the rest homes in town and so I need to come up with some songs they can sing to the residents.  We’ve been singing apples songs this month and tomorrow we will go to the teacher’s house for a day of baking and other fun apple activities. 

We have lots of trips planned for the next month.  Jason’s been planning a hunting trip with his dad and Richard for a year now, so this weekend we are headed that direction.  We will drop Jason off in Victor and the kids and I will go on to visit Mijken and Sara.  Two weeks later, Grandma and Grandpa Bagley are coming here to babysit while Jason and I go on a trip.  And then two weeks after that we will go to Rapid for Stake Conference.  So I should have some pictures to blog soon.
