Sundays are long days for us. We have to leave at 7:40 to get to our 9:00 branch council meeting, and since we live so far out Jason tries to do his home teaching after church to avoid making another trip into town. So today we didn't get home until after dark.
Today is Dallie's 6 month birthday. She had cereal for the first time today. She really liked it and did a good job eating it. Hopefully it will help her sleep better through the night. She had been sleeping through the night since she was two months. But with our move, vacation and being sick, she has been waking up in the night.
It was pretty noisy, but it was fun to have whole-wheat waffles. And the boys liked playing in the flour, making the waffles and most of all eating the end product.

IM glad you are back, funny picutes of the loud wheat grinder! I love your counter tops. sounds like a busy day!
The pictre of Dallie so cute! Such a sweet heart. And I keep giggling thinking of the boys holding their ears for the wheat grinder. We got a wheat grinder for christmas, too, but haven't tried it out yet -- must have been the gift of the year!
Your family picture up top is beautiful.
We got the same wheat grinder from my parents two years ago and my kids have the same reaction to the noise. They also love the end result. It's been great to catch up with you from your blog.
Hey that is the same wheat grinder that I got from Brice last Christmas! Don't you love how fine you can grind the wheat. I use the wheat flour to replace white in a lot of my recipes straight across.
