Wednesday's Adventure

This is how our busy day started. Most of the cattle came to me in the pickup (like they're supposed to), Jason and Rex rounded up the strays, and Dallie was happy.

They were following good so Jason went back to the windmill to get the solar panel. It was about half way through our move when this happened (flat tire, if you couldn't tell).

So when Jason caught up to us he couldn't figure out why we weren't moving. He'd left the spare tire at the shop, but luckily we were only 10 minutes from the shop and he had the Honda.

The girls wondering "what's going on? where's our cake?"

Right about now Jason is probably thinking it would have been quicker and a lot less work if Kiley hadn't come to help.

The boys chillin' in the Honda. The ranch just bought this last Saturday and the boys love it.

I don't know if I am too fond of it (the Honda) because this is what you look like after you're done riding it.
In this picture Kache is telling the cows how "we just moved to the McGinley, and we just got the Honda and it's really fun to drive, and Mom ran over a fence post and got a flat tire and Dad's fixing it...". Do you think when a person talks to cows it means that person needs a little more social interaction with humans?

Finally, the boys help Jason put on the lug nuts and we finished moving and caking the cows. We weren't able to leave early to do any shopping (just for groceries after mutual) but Jason has go into town on Friday so he can do whatever shopping that still needs to be done.
My meal turned out alright for the guys. Dallie didn't sleep at all that morning so I barely had my meal ready by the time the guys came in. The boss "just happened" to be in the area when the guys came in for lunch so he ate with them (we like our boss and we like to tease him when he shows up just in time for lunch, or after the work is all finished, or when the guys are having a snack).

That is definitely something that would happen to me. It would make me nervous to be stranded out there by myself, but I guess Dallie was keeping you company. Brice would love to have one of those Honda like that so we could all go together. We love to go 4-wheeling.
