One of the last days of school before Christmas break we went to town again for a birthday celebration. We had lunch at Sam & Louie’s where the kids got to make their own pizzas and then we went bowling.
The kids got aprons and chef’s hats that they decorated before making their pizzas.
Dallie had fallen asleep on the way into town and had to be woke up to make her pizza. She wasn’t too excited.
While they waited for their pizzas to be cooked, they watched the birthday boy open presents.
This is what we’ve done for birthdays at school this year and it has been pretty popular. It’s an old soup can filled with candy. Kache asked if he could have one for his birthday. I got the idea from Tricia, and hers look much better than mine.
After they enjoyed their pizzas they played bingo.
Off to the bowling alley!
Ryder receiving instruction from one of the dads.
The advice paid off!
Fun was had by all that day.
