Our branding this year went well. It’s always nice to be have it over with. We had about 50 helpers this year (including kids).
One of the families on our unit has been in Denver for the past 2 weeks with their baby in the hospital, so the neighbor and I are hosting their branding on Thursday. Lots of the ranch wives have offered to help, so we should have plenty of help and hopefully plenty of food. I’ve washed and foiled 70 potatoes, I don’t know if we’ll have that many, but I’d rather have too many than not enough.
